Jackson-Bibby Awareness Group, Inc. is a State of California and San Bernardino County Licensed Driving-Under-the-Influence (DUI) Education Program providing classes, counseling, and mentoring for the First DUI Offender and Multiple DUI Offender. Serving San Bernardino, Riverside, and other neighboring counties since 1981, we look after both the needs of the client and those of the community. Our focus is to show the detrimental effects that drinking and driving have on the individual, family, and community. We collaborate with both the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and the Courts to ensure compliance and help you regain your driver’s license. We are here to help you successfully navigate through the program and provide an experience that will create personal growth and permanent positive lifestyle changes. All managers and counselors are CATC and/or ACCBC Certified Addictions Treatment Counselor and many have additional licenses and certifications to help you cope with possible drug and alcohol addiction. Program Offerings

3 or 4 Month First Offender Program

For individuals in Victorville, CA facing their first DUI offense and having a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) under 0.15%, there is an available program designed to help them understand the seriousness of driving under the influence.

This program spans either 3 or 4 months depending on specific requirements and includes taking an AB 541 alcohol education class that lasts for a total of 30 hours.

The core aim of this course is to educate and counsel individuals about the dangers associated with DUI offenses – not just how it impacts them personally but also its repercussions on families and communities at large.

12-Hour Wet Reckless Program

The 12-Hour Wet Reckless Program is designed for individuals convicted of reckless driving involving alcohol, but who had a Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) below 0.08%. This course highlights the dangers of drinking and driving, emphasizing its impact not only on the driver but also on everyone else on the road.

6-Month First Offender Program

The 6 Month First Offender Program is designed for those facing their initial DUI offense with a blood alcohol level of between 0.15% and 0.19%. This course engages its participants in in-depth group counseling sessions and educational courses that cover the dangers of driving under the influence, how such actions can hurt families and communities, and offers strategies to make safer decisions moving forward.

This multi-faceted approach aims at helping individuals recognize the seriousness of their decisions while equipping them with tools to avoid future DUI incidents.

9-Month First Offender Program

If you’re facing a first DUI charge with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) above 0.20%, there’s a specific program designed for you. In this  9 Month First Offender Program you’ll be involved in numerous activities such as group counseling and education sessions centered on alcohol and drug awareness.

By completing this program, individuals work towards getting their driver’s licenses back while learning important lessons about responsibility and understanding the hazards linked to drunk driving.

18-Month Multiple Offender Program

The 18-Month Multiple Offender Program is specifically designed for individuals with more than one DUI offense. 

With a strong focus on preventing future occurrences, this program incorporates group counseling sessions, informative discussions about alcohol and drugs, and activities aimed at helping individuals reintegrate into their communities.

After completing these stages, participants can then proceed to fulfill other necessary steps to either regain their driving privileges or meet court requirements.

In-person and virtual group options

DUI education is available both in classrooms and online, providing flexibility for individuals to choose their preferred learning method. For those who enjoy face-to-face interactions, the in-person sessions held at our Victorville location offer a great opportunity.

These online sessions can be accessed from any location using either a computer or smartphone.

All fees and mandated hours are county regulated/state approved and are the same for all programs countywide. Fees and program hours increased on July 1st, 2022 and not all other DUI provider’s websites reflect this change.
